Whether we realize it or not, we all have superpowers, however, we are often unaware of what our unique superpower is. I’m, of course, not referring to anything supernatural, rather special skills we each possess that make us valuable.

For example, I’ve been told that my superpower is seeing clarity through complexity. I was unaware of this superpower until someone I respect said it out loud. Only then did I become aware of this superpower and realize this is something I do without effort. When our superpower is something we do every day, it’s easy to take this unique skill for granted.

Sometimes it takes others to realize our superpowers before we can become aware. If we are honest with ourselves, we can embrace our superpowers and use them to fulfill our potential. Superpowers can come in many forms include patience, empathy, foresight, imagination, clarity of thought, persuasiveness, data interpretation, pattern recognition, and more.

Once we discover our superpower, we can use this to improve our situation and generate wealth. By aligning our superpower with our passions and core values, we can do great things.

When it comes to personal branding, it can be helpful to focus on your origin story. Everyone has an origin story that contributes to their purpose and the discovery of their superpower. Your origin story can be a powerful message that shows the world why you are unique.

In a world saturated with talent and everyone competing for attention, harnessing your superpower can be a way to separate yourself from the masses and shine light on your value.
